Full-Time Commitment

‘Dictionaries typically define “cause célèbre” as “an issue inciting widespread controversy or heated public debate.”   But there can be no controversy or debate about Cause Célèbre, the theatre company…designed to raise awareness about various social issues…’

Frank Scheck, New York Post

WHAT IS THE RECIPE FOR LIFE?

GOOD COOKING

The art of cooking or not, as it were, is explored in Neil Simon's hilarious one-act called "Tallulah Finds Her Kitchen" which he wrote for Tallulah Bankhead, starring Frances Sternhagen, as well as in Tandy Cronyn's story about her mother whose talent was not always on stage, but in the kitchen as well.

GOOD WRITING

Two professors, two students, a limited amount of love and a lot of literature are the ingredients that make up this very Gurney, very funny play called "The Love Course,” starring Maria Tucci, Harris Yulin, Jake Robards and Miriam Silverman and directed by Antony Marsellis.

GOOD FRIENDS,

GOOD HEALTH,

& GREAT HAIRCUTS!

Kathleen Chalfant (star of Wit) is facing a bad hair day as she is about to go to the Tonys (she has been nominated for the sixth time), a good friend day (her hairdresser and best friend, cuts her hair with one hand and comforts her with the other) as she goes through an identity crisis in this heart-felt drama called “The Hairdresser” by Susan Charlotte, directed by Christopher Hart.

Tina’s Wish is a nonprofit organization supporting research to create an early and effective test for ovarian cancer and education regarding early warning signs for early diagnosis and treatment.  With early diagnosis ovarian cancer is treatable: Because there is not an early test, ovarian cancer is now the fourth leading cause of cancer deaths among women in the United States.  And it is on the increase.  We can change this.

Thank you for attending and by attending, supporting our programs.  We are sure you will enjoy the evening and hope that you will want to learn more about what we do and how we do it. We are at TinasWish.org or call 212-878-5757 to speak with Jack Bode our executive director.
